Application Form

         The applications forms for all the programmes shall be obtained from the college office, either in person or by post, by paying the prescribed fee. The application form may get from the college office and submitted, either in person or by post, along with a DD for the prescribed cost of the application. The DD should be obtained in favour of The Correcspondent, Sonai Meenal Arts and Science College, on any nationalized banks payable at Mudukulathur.

         For UG programmes, the filled-in application form, along with xerox copy of the following documents, should be submitted within 10 days of the publication of the + 2 Examination results.Application Fess is Rs.100

• +1 and +2 Marks Statement.
• Community Certificate.
• A Passport-size Photograph.
• Aadhaar Card Copy.
• Transfer Certificate.

         For PG programmes, the filled-in application form, along with xerox copies of the following documents should be submitted within 10 days of the publication of the UG Examination results of the University.Application Fess is Rs.150

• Provisional or Degree Certificate.
• Community Certificate.
• Eligibility Certificate (for candidates from outside Tamil Nadu).
• A Passport-size Photograph.
• Aadhaar Card Copy.
• Transfer Certificate.

REGULATIONS

• There shall be examinations at the end of each semester, for odd semester in the month of October / November; for even semester in April / May.
• A candidate who does not pass the examination in any course(s) may be permitted to appear in such failed course (s) in the subsequent examinations to be held in October / November or April / May. However candidates who have arrears in Practicals shall be permitted to take their arrear Practical examination only along with Regular Practical examination in the respective semester.
• A candidate should get registered for the first semester examination. If registration is not possible owing to shortage of attendance beyond condonation limit / regulation prescribed or belated joining or on medical grounds, the candidates are permitted to move to the next semester. Such candidates shall re-do the missed semester after completion of the course.
• PG students shall be required to take up a Project Work and submit the Project Report during the second year.The Head of the Department shall allot the Guide who in turn will suggest the Project Work to the students. Two typed copies of the Project Report shall be submitted to the Department before the due date and one copy will be forwarded to the Controller of Examinations.
